Detroit’s Feral Houses

It is somewhat understandable that after the collapse of the motoring industry thousands of people left Detroit in search of work. As a result it is estimated that up to 10,000 homes were left derelict and for nature to take it’s course.

Photographer Sweet Juniper decided to take pictures of this trend, and has captured some astonishing images of the houses left to rot who have succumbed to the power of nature. Considering the circumstances from which they arise the fairy tale nature of this images is somewhat outstanding.
