Vahram Muratyan, a graphic designer/artist who defines himself as a “Parisian-based-and-lover”, gives an interesting visual comparison of the French capital and New York, by using common stereotypes of both cities.
He designed 20 posters, each focusing on specific aspects of urban life, but as seen in both cities, emphasizing the differences in lifestyle, architecture, myths, culture, etc. between the ‘Ville Lumiere’ and the ‘Big Apple’.
We like the idea and the execution! Having been to both cities (and with a Parisian in the office), it has made us smile as his perspective is actually very accurate.
We selected a few of our favourites, but visit Vahram’s blog to see the rest.
